Play, care and learning.

Play

Our sessions are free flow allowing the children free access to the outside area throughout sessions. This is important as outdoor play contributes to children’s health, their physical development and their understanding of the world around them.

Care

Our setting has a Key Person system. This means all members of staff have a group of children for whom they are particularly responsible. Your child’s key person will be the person who works with you to make sure that we provide for your child’s particular needs and records your child’s information throughout their learning journey.

Learning

The setting keeps a Learning Journey for each child. Staff and parents working together on the child’s Learning Journey is one of the ways in which parents and carers work in partnership. Your child’s Learning Journey is a celebration of their achievements and can be accessed at Tapestry On-line.
Our youngest children come to us from the age of 2. They will attend for a minimum of two sessions per week either in the mornings from 8.55 - 11.55 or afternoons from 12.05 to 3.05 Currently all children are given a snack of milk and fruit mid-session. There is an option of full day attendance to meet parental requirements, please contact us for further details with your requirements. The children who stay all day bring a packed lunch. An enrolment form is available to down load here
